WALK TO REMEMBER
On October 2, 2010 at the Alberta Legislature, families who have lost babies will come together for a Walk as a special way of publicly remembering their babies. Walk to Remember joins bereaved parents, families, health professionals and friends to raise awareness about perinatal grief and the high incidence of baby loss. The Walk will create an open atmosphere of cherishing and remembering these small, precious lives. Whether their babies have died during pregnancy through miscarriage or stillbirth, after birth or through SIDS, loved ones will walk united not only to honour these babies, but also to celebrate their short lives.
Whether you choose to share about the baby who touched your life so deeply, or remain in respectful silence, know that on this day you will be understood by others who have endured similar tragedies.
