LOIS HOLE HOSPITAL FOR WOMEN
OUR 2010 BENEFICIARY
HOW ARE DONATIONS USED?
Your donation is used by Lois Hole Hospital for Women in many important ways. Every dollar that is donated by you to a charity is important. That is why, when you make a tax deductible donation to the Lois Hole Hospital for Women, you should feel confident that what you have generously given will be used carefully to help the Lois Hole Hospital for Women help grieving families following the death of a baby.
Here are some of the services your important donation helps support:
- Support the ParentCare Support Society. This free service, organized and run by health professionals and bereaved parents, offers support for parents coping with ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or concerns about subsequent pregnancies. Support is available by telephone and in support groups held monthly. Meetings take place in a relaxed and supportive environment with confidentiality assured. Members are welcome to share experiences, exchange information, and generally support one another through a difficult and often lonely time. Families are invited to attend the annual Candle Light Service in December.
- Customized Memorial Packages. These comforting packages contain special keepsakes, a newsletter and gentle information for healing.
- Publication of a newsletter provided free of charge.
- Development and distribution of grief-related materials covering most areas of grief following the death of a baby.
- Creation of the Miscarriage Cremation Program.
- Distribution of hospital bereavement packages for parents given at the time of the loss.
The Lois Hole Hospital for Women will ensure patients have the very best access to leading edge specialized diagnostic care and treatment.
This new facility will continue to attract leading physicians and specialists, furthering our role as a leader in Women's Health.
